She is a team leader both on and off the court. She has excellent on-court savvy, which showcases her leadership ability. Rotme has exceptional ball handling skills, court vision, and passing skills. She is a totally unselfish player that brings out the best in her teammates, yet also has the ability and gamesmanship to take charge of a game when necessary. She also possesses pure shot making skills, which enables her to hit from 3-point range when necessary. She is a hustler with endurance that plays strong on both ends of the court.
Background:
Rotem began playing basketball at her hometown club team 'Maccabi Haifa'. As she developed into one of the most dominant players at her age in Israel she transferred to the leading basketball club in the country, 'Anda Ramat Ha'Sharon'. At Ramat Ha'Sharon she led one of the best junior programs in the nation to many achievements and won twice the MVP award. While in Ramat Ha'Sharon she earned the opportunity to practice with the senior team and competed almost daily against WNBA players.
At the same years Rotem played for 'Rotberg High School' and led the team to win the Israeli High School Championship (2005).
Rotem was a member of Israel's Under-16 and Under-18 National Teams.
