Benny Delgado is probably one of the most talented tennis players in Israel that due to some unusual circumstances he was not able to maintain his tennis career. Despite that, Benny strives to compete at the highest level in college and definitely has the potential to play at the NCAA D-I level. Benny is a very ambitious and hard working young man that always gives 100% on the court and fights to win every point. Benny has the commitment and skill to be a great asset to any college program and he will strive to excel both on and off the court in every endeavor he undertakes.
Benny has great technical ability and he is constantly improving. He also has great ability to adapt his game during matches in order to win matches. He has a phenomenal work ethic, which is undoubtedly one of his big strengths. He is a very mature player with a good mental approach to the game both in a practice and match situation.
Biography & Achievements:
In Israel
At age 12 won the Israeli Tennis championship
At age 14, won the Israeli Tennis championship for the second time and was ranked #1 player in Israel, in singles and doubles.
His doubles partner was Amit Inbar (UCLA), and they traveled and played ETA tournaments together all over Europe.
At Chris Evert Tennis Academy (Boca Raton, Florida)
At the age of 15, Benny received a full scholarship to the Chris Evert Tennis Academy in Boca Raton Florida, under coach, Mr. Julien Link. At the academy he competed against Nestor Briceno, Brendon Evans, Nykita Kryvanos and Vahid Mirzadech.
Benny participated twice in the Orange Bowl, Eddie Herr and Prince Cup tournaments – where I qualified for the main draw in each.
As a Junior
As a junior Benny represented the Israeli National Team in several tournaments in Europe, including the famous Copa Del Sol, in which Israel beat the Ukraine, Russian and Polish national teams.

Attended American-Heritage High School (Delray Beach, FL) B+ average
