Amit is a very talented and gifted student athlete who will no doubt be a valuable asset to any college team. His speed and general athleticism on the field are some of his biggest assets. His technical abilities are the centerpiece of his game and he prides himself at being able to keep and use the ball effectively and at times, creatively.

Amit possesses a very high level of technical ability which is combined with his great speed and agility. Accompanying this is a tremendous work ethic and the ability to dictate the midfield for long periods of the game.

About his game:
Defensively, Amit is an extremely aggresive player and he is at his best playing right back. His key attributes are his skill level, speed, composure and ability to read play. He can play comfortably anywhere in the back or in central midfield. His reading of situations, timing of action and speed of movement allow him to intercept possession often and to attack space quickly on the counter attack. Has has quick footwork optimal for defending and can change direction quickly. On occasion he breaks forward at speed with the ball and has shown good ability in the front third to play the right final pass or even score from outside the penalty area.
Offensively, he is a very energetic player who is constantly running on the field throughout the 90 minutes. His speed, skill and stamina make him a very versatile player. His anticipation and ability to link up with other players underlines his team minded nature which would make him a worthy addition to any college team with a free-flowing style of soccer.

General:
Amit is extremely fast and can out run most of his opponents as his speed and agility give him the ability to make explosive runs down the field. Amit is a very versatile player and can adapt to any position on the field if required. He has the ability to use both feet with accuracy and exhibits all the qualities that a college coach desires. He has the ability to read the field well and can create space with accurate passing.
Background:
Amit began playing at age 6 for one of the top club teams in Europe, BC Maccabi Tel-Aviv, and led its young and junior teams to tremendous achievements in Israel and in Europe. Amit also led his HS school soccer team to national awards and even competed successfully in other sports such as track & field, basketball and handball. Throughout his high school years, he won various athletic awards and MVP in soccer. Two years ago Amit was invited to join the Young Israeli National Team.
