General:
Itai has great potential to play tennis at the next level. In his long youth career he has established himself as a top player in Israel and in international tournaments. He played ITF tournaments and had good results. He is an aggressive baseliner, very consistent, and the ability to end a point when presented. Itai strives to compete at the highest level in his sport, by working on all aspects of his game with his dad who is also an experience tennis coach.
About his game:
Itai uses his service and forehand as weapons. He hits his forehand deep and heavy. He will rally from the base line and pick his moment to come to the net. Excellent footwork. Very quick and agile. He does not get caught at mid court. He follows his shot with speed and plays aggressively at the net. Itai grinds his opponent deep in the match. Often wins on grit and conditioning when opponent tires. He has the ability to make other players feel very uncomfortable with his attacking game and because he consistently likes to apply pressure he creates many forced errors.
Plays with a lot of heart. He loves the game and is truly committed. Great character and plays a lot of tennis. Works hard in practice and only wants to get better. He is mentally tough and does not cave in. He has a very cool temperament, collective composure and outstanding work ethic. He has a magnificent fighting, never give up attitude.
