Tomer is a very offensive-minded tennis player. His strongest weapons are his forehand and his excellent footwork, his outstanding mobility and anticipation in the court are skills that should not go unnoticed.

About his game:
The net-game is one of his assets and with his intelligent play in the court he has developed into a very tough rival. His volleys are very sound, and his serve is fairly consistent. He sets up points by attacking the net to cut down angles. He is a very strong and quick coming to the net and strikes his volleys cleanly and crisply. He is generally very confident at the net and he closes hard to the net with good decision making. He has a solid two handed backhand and does not run around the backhand to get to his more reliable forehand.
